Senior Footy

It's looking like the club will be fielding a senior team in the Peel Football League next year in addition to colts. It just needs to be confirmed at the PFL. Put the word out . Applications for coaches will also be needed.

Definitely fielding colts and Reserves in 2009 . Look out for some players returning to the club to play ressies who were part of one of the clubs junior grand final teams a few years back. A lot of guys interested in pulling on a jumper, in addition to the guys coming up from this years colts team.

So of all of those who were keen to come back how many of them actually pulled on a jumper?

Hey Stinger 9

Don't know why you bothered to respond....it appears that only you and I actually read this page. I must say that being away and wanting to know what is going on at the Stingers has been frustrating seeing as no-one is bothering to even update the site. You would thing it was still pre-season if you logged on.

Bit of a waste really and disappointing to the many people who have probably now given up even logging on.

Gone Bush,

I was thinking the same thing myself as I hardly log in these days as there is rarely any up to date news/info. The site has a lot of potential but really needs someone with a bit of time to drive it and encourage the kids around the club to log on and get involved with the forum.
You never know, someone might hop on and answer my question (29/7) but I wont hold my breath.

Yeah Stinger 9, it's a real shame. When it first started this was a great site, but it obviously the old too few people with too many jobs again at the Stingers.

The Ressies seem to be going well, but will be interesting when they have a league side to see how competitive they actually are. But to play in finals in the first season will be a big achievement.

The juniors unfortunatley seem to be falling away though. It is a shame but quite a few good player from this years 15s and 14s have taken their gutless, self-serving selves off to the Rams and other clubs. Pretty piss-poor really but thats not really the sort of people we need at the Stingers.

Looks like you and I are the only forum users though so we will see if anyone else jumps on board.
